Q GRADERS CLASSIFY OUR COFFEE


Specialty coffee is a designation given to high-quality coffees that have passed stringent physical grading requirements as well as sensory (aroma and taste) tests. The Speciality Coffee Association describes specialty coffee in its green state - when it's unroasted--as: '...coffee without primary defects, no quakers [an unripe berry] ,and free from secondary flaws'. Properly sized and dried out before being roasted; this ensures all parts are evenly heated so there’s no sour or bitter flavors present when drinking them later on down the line! A speciality bean should be naturally sweet with distinct characteristics
